Part 2 The groom looked like he had forgotten how to breathe.

The little boy clung to his grandmother and pointed again.

“My mommy cried when she looked at your picture.”

The bride’s bouquet slipped from her fingers.

“What is happening?” she asked, her voice shaking.

The cleaning woman began to cry.

“We never wanted this,” she whispered. “I begged my daughter not to come here…”

The groom stepped closer, unable to take his eyes off the child.

“Where is your mother?” he asked.

The boy looked toward the wedding entrance.

And that was when everyone turned.

A thin young woman stood there in a simple dress, frozen in place, tears running down her face.

The groom’s knees nearly gave out.

He recognized her instantly.

Years earlier, before money, before status, before this luxury wedding—

she had been the woman he swore he loved.

The woman he disappeared on.

The woman he left pregnant.

The bride stared at him in horror.

“You know her?”

He didn’t answer.

Because the truth was now written all over his face.

The young woman finally spoke through tears:

“You told me I was the love of your life… then your family paid you to forget me.”

Gasps spread through the guests.

The bride slowly backed away from the groom as if he were a stranger.

But the real удар came a second later.

The little boy looked up at the bride and said:

“My mommy said… today was supposed to be her wedding.”

Silence.

Then the bride turned to the groom, her face burning with humiliation and fury—

just as one guest’s phone livestreamed everything.
