🎬 PART 2: «The Woman She Tried to Erase»

The blonde woman’s hand flew to her chest.

“No,” she whispered. “No, that’s not possible.”

The younger woman did not blink.

The little boy clung to her waist now, peeking out with wide frightened eyes as the entire terrace stood frozen around them.

The voice on the phone continued, calm and professional.

“Your company is already under emergency executive control.”

A champagne flute slipped from someone’s hand and cracked against the marble.

The older woman stared like the ground had opened under her.

“You…” Her lips trembled. “You don’t have that authority.”

The younger woman stepped closer, one arm still wrapped around the boy.

“Yes,” she said quietly. “I do.”

The blonde woman shook her head harder, panic breaking through the last of her pride. “You were nothing. You were supposed to leave.”

The younger woman’s eyes hardened.

“You thought if you humiliated me in public, I would stay afraid.”

The guests were no longer whispering now. They were completely still.

The younger woman looked down at the child, brushed a hand gently over his hair, then lifted her eyes back to the woman in gold.

“You told me to take him and disappear,” she said. “But this boy is the reason I came back.”

The blonde woman’s face drained of color.

The boy looked up at the younger woman, then at the older one, confused and silent.

A long, heavy pause settled over the terrace.

Then the younger woman spoke the truth that shattered the night.

“He is your grandson.”

The older woman’s mouth fell open.

A broken breath escaped her. She stumbled back another step, one hand gripping the cocktail table for balance.

“No…”

Tears filled the younger woman’s eyes again, but now they came with strength, not shame.

“You tried to throw us out,” she said. “You tried to erase us before anyone could know.”

The boy buried his face against her side again.

The younger woman held him closer and delivered the final blow in a voice so calm it hurt more than shouting.

“But you just publicly attacked the legal heir’s mother.”

This time, nobody looked at the older woman with fear.

They looked at her with horror.
