🎬 PART 2: «The Scratch That Was Already There»

The boy moved before anyone else did.

Still coughing, still soaked, he stepped between the man and his little sister, taking the shove meant for her.

The photo stayed in her shaking hands.

The mechanic grabbed the man’s wrist.

“Enough.”

The car wash went silent.

The little girl held the photo up, crying but brave. In it, the luxury car sat at the entrance before the wash, the same scratch clearly visible under a layer of old dirt.

The man’s face turned red.

“That proves nothing.”

The mechanic wiped more dirt from the car and pointed to the edge of the scratch.

“This wasn’t done today. You came here to blame him.”

The boy lowered his head, breathing hard.

“I just need this job,” he whispered.

His sister looked at the man with wet eyes.

“He’s saving for my school.”

The laughter disappeared.

The owner of the car wash stepped out from the office, holding security footage on his phone.

“I saw everything,” he said.

The rich man looked around, but nobody was laughing with him anymore.

The owner turned to the teenage boy.

“You’re not paying for anything.”

Then he looked at the man.

“But you are.”
