🎬 PART 2: «The Man Hidden in the Photograph»

The bride stopped breathing.

The groom held out his hand.

“Give me the photo.”

The boy hesitated, then placed it in his palm.

The groom looked down.

His expression changed slowly.

Confusion.

Then recognition.

Then something close to fear.

The bride whispered,

“Please… not here.”

He looked at her.

“Who is this man?”

The boy’s lips trembled.

“My dad.”

The groom stared at the photograph again.

The man beside the bride was younger, smiling, one arm around her waist.

On his hand was a wedding ring.

The groom’s voice dropped.

“You told me you’d never been married.”

The bride covered her mouth.

“I thought he was dead.”

The boy shook his head.

“He isn’t.”

Guests began whispering.

The bride looked at the child as if seeing a ghost.

“Then why did you point at me when he asked who your father was?”

The boy wiped his eyes.

“Because Dad said you changed your name.”

The bride went completely still.

The groom frowned.

“That doesn’t answer the question.”

The boy reached into his other pocket.

This time, he pulled out a second photograph.

His hand shook as he held it toward the groom.

“He said this one would.”

The bride saw it first.

A broken sound escaped her throat.

The groom slowly turned the photo toward himself.

Then looked at his bride in horror.

Because the person standing beside the boy’s father in that picture…

was him.
