Part 2 “…granddaughter.”

For a moment, the entire ballroom stopped breathing.

The socialite laughed nervously.

“That’s impossible.”

But the billionaire woman slowly stepped closer.

Her eyes never left the waitress.

“When my daughter ran away twenty-three years ago,” she said quietly,
“I never saw her again.”

The crowd listened in stunned silence.

“She fell in love with a poor man I refused to accept.”

The waitress stared at the floor.

Tears rolled down her cheeks.

The billionaire continued:

“Last month… I received a letter.”

She pulled a folded envelope from her purse.

“My daughter died three years ago.”

Gasps spread across the room.

“And before she died… she told her daughter who her grandmother was.”

The billionaire turned toward the trembling waitress.

“She came here tonight just to see me.”

The girl whispered through tears:

“I didn’t want your money… I just wanted to know you.”

The billionaire gently placed the $15 million necklace around her neck.

“I lost my daughter because of my pride.”

Her voice broke.

“I will not lose my granddaughter too.”

The room was silent.

Phones were still recording.

And the socialite who had humiliated the girl slowly realized something terrifying.

By tomorrow morning—

The entire world would see what she had done.

And no amount of money could erase that video.
