🎬 PART 2: «The Son Hidden in Plain Sight»

The city square went silent around them.

The businessman lowered his phone, but his hand was shaking.

The rich young woman stepped back, suddenly afraid to laugh.

The blind man gripped his cane with both hands, his lips trembling from a pain he had carried longer than most people carry memories.

“Twenty years ago,” he whispered, “outside the old hospital… I heard your voice.”

The businessman swallowed.

The little girl looked up from the coins, frozen.

The blind man continued, his voice barely holding together.

“My wife was crying. My newborn son was gone. And you told someone, ‘No mistakes.’”

The businessman’s face collapsed.

“I was young,” he said. “I worked for your wife’s family. They paid me to take the baby away.”

The blind man’s hand flew to his chest.

“Where is he?”

The businessman looked down, unable to meet his eyes.

“I don’t know.”

The old man almost fell, but the little girl caught his hand.

Then the businessman reached into his coat and pulled out an old hospital bracelet.

“I kept this,” he whispered. “In case I ever found the courage.”

The blind man touched the bracelet with shaking fingers.

There was a name printed on it.

His son’s name.

And beneath it, a new address.
