Part 2 The screen displayed a corporate ownership record.

The logo of Lang Global Industries appeared at the top — Victor Lang’s billion-dollar company.

The guests leaned closer.

Below the logo was the name of the majority shareholder.

A ripple of whispers spread across the ballroom.

Because the name on the document…

was the maid’s.

“That’s impossible,” one of the executives shouted.

Victor’s chief lawyer stepped forward calmly.

“It’s completely accurate,” he said.

“Three months ago, through a private acquisition fund…”

“…she purchased 51% of Lang Global Industries.”

The entire room froze.

Which meant something unbelievable.

Victor Lang was no longer the owner of his own empire.

Isabella stepped backward slowly.

“You’re saying she bought the company?”

Victor smiled slightly.

“No.”

Then he looked at the woman beside him.

“She didn’t just buy it.”

He paused.

“She saved it.”

The screen changed again.

A financial report appeared showing massive losses.

Lang Global had been quietly collapsing for two years.

The only reason the company survived…

was the anonymous investor who bought controlling shares.

And that investor…

had spent the entire evening walking through the ballroom as a maid.

The woman slowly looked around the silent room.

“I wanted to see something first,” she said quietly.

“How people treat those they think have no power.”

The executives avoided her eyes.

Because in that moment everyone realized the same terrifying truth.

The maid they had tried to throw out of the party…

was now their boss.
