🎬 PART 2: «The Name Under the Stamp»

The principal stopped smiling.

The cafeteria became so quiet that even the trays stopped clinking.

The poor boy stood beside the table, hugging his empty backpack to his chest, confused by the way every adult was suddenly staring at him.

The teacher held the letter with both hands, trying not to cry.

“This was written by the school’s founder,” she said softly.

The principal’s face went pale.

The teacher read the next line.

“To my grandson, if he is ever found, everything I built belongs to him.”

The boy’s lips parted, but no words came out.

“My mom said it was just an old family letter,” he whispered.

The teacher knelt in front of him.

“What was your mother’s name?”

The boy looked down at his torn shoes.

“Emily Carter.”

The principal stepped back like the name had struck him.

The teacher turned the letter fully toward him. At the bottom was the founder’s signature, and under it, one sentence that changed the room forever.

“Emily Carter’s son is my only living heir.”

The boy’s hands began to shake.

The same kids who laughed at him now stood frozen with their lunch trays in their hands.

The teacher gently touched the boy’s shoulder.

“You weren’t supposed to be sitting here hungry,” she said, her voice breaking. “This entire place was waiting for you.”

The boy looked at the principal.

For the first time, the principal couldn’t meet his eyes.
