🎬 PART 2: «The Mother Who Saw Her Son»

Nobody spoke.

The bully’s mother stared at the monitor as the footage replayed her son laughing while the blind boy searched the floor with shaking hands.

Her face broke with shame.

“That’s my child?” she whispered.

The bully lowered his eyes for the first time.

The principal walked to the trash bin and pulled out the blind boy’s backpack. Papers, books, and a small folded photo fell onto the floor.

The guard bent down, picked up the cane, and placed it gently into the boy’s hand.

The boy gripped it like it was part of him.

His voice was small.

“I thought nobody would come.”

His mother stepped from behind the principal, crying quietly.

“I came,” she said.

The boy’s lips trembled.

He reached toward her voice, and she pulled him into her arms.

The bully’s mother walked slowly to her son and took his phone from his hand.

“You laughed while someone was scared,” she said, tears in her eyes. “Now you will learn what kindness costs when you refuse to give it.”

The old guard looked at the blind boy.

“You were never alone,” he said softly.

And for the first time that night, the hallway felt safe.
