🎬 PART 2: «The Medicine She Switched»

The doctor moved before anyone else could breathe.

He grabbed the IV line, checked the bag, and his face went pale.

“This isn’t her medicine.”

The wealthy woman reached for the boy.

“He’s lying.”

The boy backed into the doctor’s leg, shaking.

“No,” he whispered. “She peeled it off and put another one.”

The mother’s weak hand twitched on the blanket.

The monitor screamed faster.

The doctor shouted for a nurse, then yanked open the emergency drawer and switched the medication with steady, urgent hands.

The boy covered his ears, crying silently as the room filled with footsteps.

The wealthy woman tried to slip toward the door.

But the doctor saw her.

“Lock the room.”

A nurse stepped in front of the exit.

The boy lifted the torn label again.

“She said if Mom signed, the house would be hers.”

The doctor froze.

The papers on the bed were not hospital forms.

They were property transfer documents.

The wealthy woman’s perfect face cracked.

The mother’s breathing slowly steadied.

The boy crawled onto the bed and held her hand.

“Mom,” he whispered, “I didn’t let her.”

The mother opened her eyes just enough to see him.

And the woman who came to steal everything finally had nowhere left to hide.
