Part 2 The screen showed a property record.

Then another.

And another.

Luxury hotels.

Office towers.

Private investment funds.

Each one listed under the same holding company.

The guests leaned closer as the name of the owner appeared on the screen.

It was the maid’s name.

A ripple of whispers swept across the ballroom.

“That can’t be real,” someone said.

But Adrian’s lawyer slowly stepped forward.

“It is very real,” he announced.

“These properties were purchased between nine and twelve years ago.”

Victoria shook her head in disbelief.

“But Adrian built this empire!”

Adrian looked at her calmly.

“No,” he said.

“I managed it.”

Then he turned toward the woman beside him — the former maid.

“She funded it.”

The crowd erupted with shocked voices.

Adrian gestured toward the screen again.

The next image appeared.

A small apartment.

Two young people sitting on the floor eating instant noodles.

The guests leaned closer.

Because one of those people was Adrian.

And the other…

was the maid.

“That was eleven years ago,” Adrian said.

“When I had nothing.”

“She believed in my ideas when every investor laughed at me.”

Victoria stepped backward slowly.

“You’re lying,” she whispered.

But the lawyer spoke again.

“She is the largest shareholder in every company Mr. Hale runs.”

The room went silent again.

Which meant something unbelievable.

The most powerful businessman in the city…

wasn’t the richest person in the room.

The maid was.

And for ten years…

she had watched the world treat her like she was invisible.

Until tonight.
